Climate Modeling
The CCR Climate Modeling Pages have been relocated.
Climate Modeling Data and Plots allows users to create plots of GCM data, calculate area averages, run a simple Energy Balance Climate Model, and download GCM data.
Climate Modeling Tools and Information contains information about CCR climate simulations, including experiment descriptions (boundary condition tables), paleoclimatic parameters, variable descriptions, and area averages for key variables (temperature, preciptiation, precipitation-evaporation, sea level pressure) for select experiments (model standard area tables).
Data Processing has scripts to process GCM output (including GrADS, NCL, and NCO) and links to UNIX help including a VI editor how-to and a UNIX guide.
